CNC turning & milling

Capability engineered around your part.

Close-tolerance manufacturing across a broad range of processes and materials—from one-off prototypes to repeat production.

Core disciplines

Machine the detail.
Protect the intent.

Tychon matches process, equipment, workholding, and inspection to the geometry and production goal—not the other way around.

01 / Milling

CNC milling

Vertical machining with 3- and 4-axis capability for complex features, tight relationships, pockets, profiles, bores, and multi-face work.

02 / Turning

CNC turning

Engine and CNC turning with live tooling and automated bar feeds for stable, repeatable production across varied part envelopes.

03 / Secondary

Finish & assembly

Support for heat treating, finishing, laser engraving, and assembly helps keep more of the program moving through one accountable partner.

04 / Quality

Inspection built in

In-process checks and final inspection monitor critical dimensions and confirm conformance before release.

Materials

Nearly 100 materials.
One exacting standard.

Material behavior shapes every manufacturing decision—from tool selection and speeds to workholding and inspection.

Aluminum

Lightweight alloys for detailed geometry, structural parts, housings, fixtures, and production components.

Steels

Alloy and stainless grades for strength, durability, wear resistance, and demanding service conditions.

Bronze alloys

Precision turning and milling for bushings, bearing surfaces, and components requiring distinctive material properties.

Plastics

Close-tolerance machining across polymers where edge quality, stability, and controlled workholding matter.

Composites

Non-metal capability for specialized parts and applications, reviewed against geometry and finish requirements.
